Ziad Ghanem at London fashion week.

A couple of days ago I had the pleasure of working within the make-up team headed by Michelle Webb. This was for Ziad Ghanem http://ziadghanem.co.uk/ at Vauxhall Fashion Scout.

The day had started early with a couple of us cutting out transfer tattoos whilst Ziad and his team were busy making sure everything was running smoothly at his divine apartment. We then headed over to the location to find the lovely make-up room which was unfortunately abit on the small side, but worked out well because hair was done in another room.

The team created outstanding work on all the models and everyone looked beautiful. I especially enjoyed doing make-up on Ziads niece, who turned about to be the star of the show with her fierce catwalk presence. Amazing for a ten year old!!

I was extremely happy to be part of such a creative team including the designers, models, make-up artists and hair stylists. Well-done to everyone.

First work of 2011

Amazing start for me for the new year with the front cover of "The Tip" online magazine.

Make up: Sarah Jane Ellis

Rox was actually AMAZING. The day we did this shoot it was ridiculously cold, to the point where I couldn't feel my feet and my fingers were going numb. The photographer was shaking soo hard he needed someone to help keep him still!! And I was wearing lots of layers, whereas Rox was wearing the thinnest material. These are moments I'm very glad to be behind the camera and not in-front! don't be fooled by the smiles, shes freezing her ass off lol

The front cover and the above photo are my favourites. She looks amazing. Rox is a really great, super down to earth talented woman, she's not afraid to say what she wants and I respect a woman like that.

I have worked for The Tip before on their VV Brown photoshoot where I also did the make-up. Thanks to
Christina Mbakwe the editor in chief. She's always got something to say (in a good way!) check out here: http://www.christianarants.com
